I'm in the Money
Well, last Saturday I had that party of 120 people, right? It started out w/ 1 team and parents out on the patio. It was about 30-35 people. I was doing it by myself at first b/c nobody was there to help me yet. So I got everybody's drink orders by myself, even though Trudy and Chris helped pour them. Then I started to take food orders which was becoming a disaster since kids were everywhere!! Finally Joel came out to help me! Thank goodness! Then it was complete and utter chaos from there! Tabitha and Claire finally showed up when the other team started coming in. Then after the first party left, me and Joel took them too. Then after the second party left, we cleared everything away and set up for the 4th and last party. The last 2 parties were way calmer than the first two.
But all in all, i did really good money wise all day. I quit taking tables at the end of the parties and just helped clean up and do closing Saturday sidework and I got the money thing situated for all of us b/c that was a wreck in itself! I was supposed to get off at 8, but needless to say, I left there at 10:20...ugh! and i was tired! I was in bed by 11! It felt good to wake up the next morning well rested. :)
Church was yesterday...that was good. Then I came back up to my apartment and had more leftovers. Then CCC intramural softball game was at 4 (we won! there's a 3-way tie for 1st place i hear! and i think we're up there!)!!! went to sonic and played telephone and duck-duck-goose w/ Micah's little brother Isaac. He is so CUTE! I love little kids! (just not at restaurants when i'm their waitress) Then we had the college group thing at church. I was so excited about it. We got free food and we were gonna play a game and we ended up playing Battle of the Sexes. I hate that game! it's just so dumb. I knew one question nobody else knew and it was about pool. "how many balls are on the table at the beginning of a game of 8-ball?" Answer: 16, including the cue ball. eh, i was so bored after I went home after that. Me and amanda played Boggle b/c everybody else was either doing homework, not around, or just didn't wanna do anything. I wanted to play video games, but Kelly was watching tv in the living room so we really couldn't. i can't wait to get a 2 bedroom apt! Okay, shower time.
