pre-Fall Retreat!

YAY! I'm SO excited! I love this time of year! the transition into october...and this year it's all about fall retreat! I am so psyched about this one too! A bunch of cool ppl are going! YAY! It's gonna be so fun! And there's just a ton of ppl going! i love it! it's gonna be a blast! four square...woo-hoo!!!

me, jackie, laura, amanda, beth, and katie all played cards tonight. it was fun...then somebody stormed out b/c she didn't like hanging w/ us. she basically said we were annoying! oh well...

a week later...

OKay, here it is, another week has passed and i am finally updating this thing! ugh, I'm kinda mad! Big Spring Jam got cancelled tonight, even after we hurried our little butts at Friday's and sped all the way to the BSJ! UGH! And we had to walk out in the rain to the gates just to hear that it was cancelled. But I did have fun at Friday's w/ my friends!

I had 2 tests last Thursday and was frantically studying for them. It was alright, i'm not sure how i did.

OH! And Laura, Amanda, Katie, Beth, and I went to see Just Like Heaven w/ Reese Witherspoon! OH, i do recommend it! It is a really good romantic comedy! I wanted to go see it until I saw the previews for it. The previews changed my mind! But it really was a good movie! And Jon Heder from Napoleon Dynamite was in it for a few scenes...he's hilarious:

And I finally got to go home... first time in over a month! I missed my family! but I didnt even get to see Lainey, my 2 year old cousin! i haven't seen her in about 3 months! SAD DAY!

Okay, i'ma gonna go anda work ona mya presentation for class! *yay* no work or babysitting tomorrow night! Par-tay!

Well, what a week I've had! it's been great! Last Thursday night, I hung out w/ the girls, it was alotta fun! I love my girls! (Girls: Amanda, Laura, Beth, and Katie)

Friday night, I went to Tami and Tabitha's church masquerade. Theme: Worst prom ever, 50's-80's. Me, Tami, Tabitha, Sarah R., and Tam/Tab's family all mostly went in 80's gear. I had SO much fun! I love dressing up!

Then, I went w/ Kari and a bunch of random ppl from Crusade and/or Ashford Terrace went to see the Exorcism of Emily Rose. I got frickin' spooked by it! I think most people did. But I thought it was good.

I had to work ALL day on saturday. Not so much fun, but money was definitely good!

Church was good today. I had to babysit first service. Not so bad. me and bethany bradshaw were in there together and it was just little Benjamin. He was good all except for the poopy diaper i had to change. YUCK!

Intramural Football started today! YAY! CRUSADE WON THE FIRST GAME! YAY GO BOYS!!! And our official mascot is the squirrel! Caroline found a baby squirrel and I got to babysit it for like 5 minutes today! It's SO cute! Shout out to Leroy!

Study time...i have 2 tests on Thursday...back to back! UGH!

I'm a Loser

So, I hate myself sometimes for being shy. I know, it may be hard to believe, but once I step into the Administrative Science Building, I lose my voice. I hardly talk to anybody in my classes. I like having people I know in my classes, b/c that's the only time I dont talk to anybody. But that is rare now since I am so far into my college career. I'm a senior and I dont really know any other finance majors! That's sad.

Today, we had our first Financial Management Association meeting of the year. And we were electing officers. I was gonna run, but I never voiced myself aloud at the meeting. I had emailed the teacher over it last semester that I wanted to run, but I was too intimidated to speak up. I hate myself for that. But I dont care anymore. I just want to get through with classes now. And I'm already involved in Cru, but I did want to be an officer for FMA b/c I'm a dork and that's what dorks do.

Party Hardy

Today, me, laura, and katie rode together to go to jackie's wedding in albertville. It was really good! It makes me wanna get married just to have a wedding! I got to see a lot of ppl that i hardly get to see. that was fun.

Then the reception was awesome! We danced a lot! Laura was my dance partner baby!!! We danced the night away! And I even slow danced like 3 times! I never slow dance. I loved the ppl that I sat with when we ate and stuff. Beth and Chantell were supposed to be at our table, but they couldn't come, so Julie and her b/f sat w/ us. I love Julie. She's crazy w/ us. Me and Laura would sing into our microphones (aka spoons) with the fun songs the dj was playing. Then after we had eaten all our food (and even while we were waiting on more food) we boogied!

OH, and on the way back, it was just me and laura. We sang to Kelly Clarkson at the top of our lungs! that was fun! :) YAY for weddings! And congratulations to Ryan and Jackie Hayes!!!

Uh-Oh

So, here I am, stuck in Von Braun Research Hall awaiting the printing of my slides for class. There are several people in here waiting on me too! i feel so bad, but I didn't know my file was HUGE and it was gonna take it a while to print...oh, there goes another page, and another...i think it's catching up! YAY! It is! Okay, now to go sort my pages out from the numerous others!
