First CCC of the year!

YAY! Tonight is the first Campus Crusade for Christ meeting of the Fall 2005 semester! Whoopie! I'm excited! And the leaders get to wear the new green shirts early. And I like them (thanks Tami)!!!

I'm still indifferent about school. In economics today, we learned about the marginal indifference curves. I am definitely willing to give up my time now for classes for a better paying job in the future. I am indifferent about it I reckon. Maybe I'm not using this thing correctly. It's working in my head, but I can't explain it on here. Okay, time to shut up now!

YAY! The luau is over! I was totally stressing out about EVERYTHING last week! Sarah and I went to buy decorations at Party City and other places but they had either sold out that week or had it boxed up to ship off early the next morning! But we did manage to find a paper pineapple, some tiki mugs, and some small table size tiki torches! Really cool stuff. And Bethany let us borrow a bunch of stuff from her work and monica made a fruit salad and brought some decorations too! I was so worried about everything! But overall, I think it was pretty cool. I actually bought a grass skirt adn i loved it! it was so fun to play with! but i got stuck in it and bethany had to help me out! I loved playing volleyball again adn some frisbee was fun! I dont like playing volleyball w/ certain people, it's like i'm not really having fun and then i really suck. I just like to have fun, i dont care if i'm winning or not.

i lost my lei that goes on my car mirror. i really can't stand to drive w/o it! sad day! i still need to clean my car out. And i need to clean my apartment. I think that's what i'm gonna do right now. then we have a college swim party tonight. i think i might go, but not swim. maybe swim, maybe not...dunno.

First day of my last fall semester (hopefully)

YAY! Today was my very last first day of fall semesters! YAY! I graduate in May! I'm happy! I just can't wait for it to be over with. I'm afraid though, that my social life is gonna lack in so many areas b/c I need to study hard these last 2 semesters. I have only upper level courses. But it's only 12 hours each semester, but still!

Oh, stupid thing I did yesterday! I went to pay my tuition online and I put that I wanted to pay $1836 for my tuition instead of the owed $1386! So now I will be getting a stupid refund check of $450 for my own money! I just will have to live w/o that money until then! I think I'm gonna buy me a laptop when that money comes in! Jeffrey was supposed to help me pick one out last week, but I'm glad I didn't b/c I had to spend A LOT of money this past weekend on my car! I'm so broke right now! it sucks butt!

Frustration!

OH! I'm just so frustrated right now! Oh, there are just too many things to name! Boys suck! My job sucks! School sucks! I wanna be 4 again! I wanna just be at home w/ my momma all day and playing w/ my Barbie dolls! UGH!!!!

Oh Baby!

Well, I just heard from my friend Jeannie and she had her baby like almost 2 weeks ago! I can't believe it! I'm so excited! She's supposed to call me back in a few minutes. I hope we can meet up so i can see little Alexis!

So, the past few days have been crazy...

Thursday: My girls' Bible Study group went horseback riding at Bethany's family friends' house! IT WAS TOTALLY AWESOME!!! I was pretty scared at first, but I really enjoyed it! I think that would be something worth investing in! Then we had bible study in Bethany's room and then me, Chantell and Bethany all spent the night. It was good. We talked a lot about stuff.

Friday: Crazy day at work...did not enjoy it! Then we had leaders' retreat. I got to see a bunch of old friends and all the ones i've been hanging out w/ all summer! Fun day! Tabitha, Tami, and Sarah R. rode to the Cliffhouse w/ me. I thought it was fun. I'm not sure anybody else thought it was though. Then we finally got there w/o making any wrong turns (unlike Jarred and Elissia). It was so beautiful up there! And I had an awesome time! We cooked, played Signs (thanks Monica!), played around, and did all that leader kind of stuff. Me and Elissia stayed up till 3 or 4 in the morning talking. It was a good talk too. I got a lot of stuff off my chest. I just need to vent every once in a while adn I havne't talked to her that much since she left WEG. We worked on Freshmen Devotionals on Saturday. I was kinda dreading it b/c I suck at writing, but it wasn't that bad. Everybody was working all around each other, but I had to get away from everybody. I did have to keep coming back to Bethany though b/c i still have trouble writing stuff. My vocabulary is not that big, so i had to ask her for different words and such. It was all fun! Then I had to have a nap while everybody else went to the zip line. I'm not much of a water person though, so it was okay.

Saturday: (well, that last paragraph was half of Saturday, but oh well) I went to my house in Cullman after we got back from the retreat. My mom had my new phone and i needed it! Even though I just got it fixed today. But I also wanted to visit w/ my family. That was fun.

Sunday: My mom, stepdad, and I went to the Water Valley Flea Market. It's in 2 chicken houses. I love that place even though I didn't buy anything. They just didn't have anything I needed! Well, before taht we went and ate some BBQ. Oh, and the night before, my sister's boyfriend had a wreck. He dropped my sister off at home and was a mile away from his house when he flipped his truck 4 times! They said it was a miracle that he lived! He said his feet were hanging out the back window when he woke up! My sister was in tears the next morning when she found out!
Oh, but Sunday night I got to go to The Afters concert in Decatur! I could not find anybody that wanted to go until it was almost too late! Me, Adam, Andrew, and Jeffrey got there right when The Afters were coming on stage! And it was an AWESOME concert! I had so much fun! Thanks for goign w/ me guys! Then we went to Steak & Shake afterwards. Oh, and I got autographs! SO COOL! :) Then we went back to adam's and played Cranium. fun day (space mountain!)

Monday: I had to work all day! Enough said! Then 2nd shift bartender was supposed to come in at 5 but she never showed up! I worked 9:30Am to 9:31Pm!!! CRAZY!

Today: I got my phone fixed! It's working now, but I lost my downloaded ringtones and games! SAD DAY! :( But my phone works now!

Sorry for the long entry. I love to reread these and remember stuff! YAY!

Eh

So this past week has really had its ups and downs. I've been really depressed and really happy all in the same week! Weird, i know. God is good though!

Me and amanda are starting on some abstract art for our dining room. I painted 4 canvases black last night while watching Finding Nemo and 50 First Dates. Most of my friends were at work or nowhere to be found. But it's all good. I enjoy painting. Basically as long as it's solid colors. I'm horrible with detail, but we'll see how our paintings turn out. We're also working on a project for our kitchen! I think it's gonna rock! YAY!

Oh, and yesterday marks the 5th and 6th times I've dropped my phone in 2 weeks. And last year I dropped it off my 3rd floor apartment balcony. So, now my screen doesn't light up. So I can't see anything right now. SO, i'm gonna go on Tuesday (hopefully) and see what I can get done to it! I hope I can get something done! This really sucks b/c now I can't even play tetris on it anymore! BLAH!

Now it's off to church for me! God is awesome, yo!
