White Water Rafting

I love white water rafting! it is such a blast! I got to ride up front the most of the time. And when I rode in the back, I got to move up to the very front at the end and I got so splashed in the face! It was so freakin' awesome! I got a headache on the way up there b/c me and Tabitha were in the back of her parents' van adn they had Kenny Rodgers playing way too loudly! Oh it was horrible. And we repeatedly asked them to turn it down but they wouldn't! I couldn't even sleep! But I didn't care once I got there! OH it was so much fun!!! But I was also exhausted when I got home. I went to bed at 10pm or something like that.

Since I got home from church, I've been such a bum! I went to Old Navy today and bought a pair of jeans, a cute black top, and a little skirt to go over my black bathing suit! I love shopping and I haven't gone clothes shopping in about 2 months! And then me and amanda went to walmart where I impulsively bought some crap! I'm so bored!

The Island

Well, I went to see The Island w/ Laura, Amanda, and Andrew tonight. It was a pretty good movie. Me and Laura are very immature! But I really enjoyed the movie. We went to IHOP afterwards.

I hate work. I hate it, I hate it, I HATE IT!!!!
Actually, I dont mind work, i just hate working SO FREAKIN' MUCH! I hate all day doubles. I hate double. period. I hate working the bar at night with a bunch of drunks! Anyways, I hafta work a lot from now until school starts. So, I'm not having much of a summer break. I've been talking w/ my mom about a few things about work. I'm hoping some things work out for me. We'll see.

Well, I'm gonna go do something now... clean my room or decorate it or read and go to bed. I like the last idea best. Oh, yeah, I'm working w/ the kids at my church this week. My church is doing an "Adventure Week." It's kinda like VBS, but my church does a lot of things differently adn this is another one of those things. But I'm excited about it. Finally, I get to help out w/ this age group at my church! i love my church.

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

YAY!!! In 3.5 hours, i will be standing in line to get the sixth Harry Potter book! OMG! i can't wait! It will consume me for the next week or so! YES! Okay, so I'm a dork and I'm gonna be wearing a Harry Potter shirt, and I bought a purple bracelet that says VI, and I read the HP books every summer! I can't help it...

Okay, so today was a long day at work. I enjoyed this morning's tips. Tonight was not as good, and this guy at the bar said something offensive to me and I dont like him at all. Anyways, i will be very glad when i graduate and will not need a blue collar job...uh-oh, i hear sirens! but they passed by...

Well, I'ma go call my momma. And then go get ready to stand in line!!!! YAY! And Joel at work is excited about the book too! It's cool...i like talking to him about it! It just really shocked me when he told me he read Harry Potter! YAY! Fun days all around....

I'm a bum

So, now I've been out of class for 6 days or so, and i've been really enjoying it! I'm actually still unpacking. I counted like 6-7 boxes that are still all packed up. So, I know what I'll be doing for the rest of the summer. I still wanna bring out the scrapbook again. It still needs a lot of work and there's no way i can work on it during the school year! I'm so behind on it too! UGH! I still need to print pics off my computer from freshman/sophomore year. I also need to hang up my pics here. I bought the poster strips for my posters. I'm thinking about going and buying another poster. YAY! I think I will...something else to blow my money on!

well, i gotta go get my oil changed/tires rotated and balanced/fuel injectors checked out...anyone wanna loan me some money? Any millionaires out there that are designing cookie packages that wanna just throw away their money to me?

Hooray!!!

OMG! I took my final in FIN 361 on Friday morning and checked my grades friday night and they were already posted!!! OMG! I GOT AN A!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everybody cheer! it's so exciting! I get to keep my scholarships...as soon as I send off my paper work, even though it's still gonna take a while. ugh! well, i'm happy! :)

And today I went to a wedding in TN for two of my business friends. They were so cute! It makes me wanna get married (but not for a while)! :)

Then me and Laura went out to Friday's, that was cool b/c we got to go out looking so hott in our attire from the wedding. Nobody else got to see us, so why waste a perfectly good outfit and good hair day?

then we went to caroline's for just a little girls' night in. It was great... Let's just say, a lot of make up was involved...
