Relaxation

Okay, so this week is gonna be great! Smile everyone! I only work 2 days this week and it's only 3 shifts! I'm SO excited! I would jump for joy right now if I wasn't so tired! I went fishin' today w/ my family. I also brought along Laura. She's NEVER been fishing...ever!!! She had a lot of fun I think! She caught 3 fish and finally learned to cast it on her own! And she even held a fish w/ her bare hands! Good girl! And after hanging around my family for a day or so, she's begun to sound more southern! you go girl!

Well, I should be moving in a couple of weeks. I can't wait! Kelly ate my rice tonight! I was gonna eat it this week b/c I can actually cook for myself! I was upset but I didn't say anything to her. We've only got about another month together and we need to get along. And it was only a box of rice. I can get more later.

But I'm going to bed now b/c I'm exhausted! I only got like an hour of sleep last night b/c I had to share the couch w/ my sister (laura slept in my sister's bed and that left nowhere else) and I was not about to sleep in the floor b/c I had seen a mouse earlier. (btw, the mouse was caught in the middle of the night and i heard the trap pop!) And sharing any place to sleep w/ Mallory is horrible! Needless to say, I tossed and turned all night. And I figured out that I worked 53 hours last week alone! Talk about some overtime! Okay, night peoples!

Poopy

Holy crap!!! I am POOPED! I just worked the longest shift I've ever done! I worked 13 straight hours! But I did make basically $14/hour! Not bad! but i'm still so tired! i think i'm actually gonna go to bed now. But I wanna type some. Next week is gonna suck... I start classes and i only have 3 shifts at work. I worked about 8 shifts this week and then i go down to 3!!! And 1 is kinda crappy!

But I"m going fishing with mi familia next Monday (Memorial Day)! YAY! And Laura is coming with me! She's NEVER been fishing before! I'm so excited! I love being from the South and all my Southern experiences. I love to talk to people that are not from around here. Tonight, 2 guys came in, one from England and one from Norway. They were pretty cool and they had awesome accents!

Tiredness

OMG! I hate my job now... Not the job, but my boss and the long hours she's making me do! last week, we had 1 guy in Arizona, 1 chick in Georgia w/ a pinched nerve, another chick training for a summer camp nursing program, and 1 guy being weeded out of his job! SO, on top of my regular schedule, I had to pick up some of their slack! OMG! I worked 3 12 hours shifts last week and 3 this week! she tried to get me to do more, but i had plans! i had to swap around my movie plans for star wars episode 3 so i could go to work b/c they had nobody else to cover it! i even had to go in right after the movie! oh, i can't even enjoy the money i'm making! i'm not complaining about making all this money, but i've been so tired that i can't even do fun things! i went over to tami's saturday night after work and i fell asleep after 10 minutes of the movie! and they just let me sleep there for the night!

OKay, no more complaining! but i will let you in on a stupid thing i did! My church just went to 2 services 2 sunday's ago. Okay... I was recruited to babysit for the 1st service in the 1-2 year old room. I like them! so it's not a problem. I do it everyother sunday. but i haven't started yet. So, i thought i was supposed to start this past sunday, but... When i got downstairs, they told me that i was next week! So i just stayed for the early service! Me and Sandi Kirkland were the only college students there! So i missed all of my friends too. but i did get to experience the early service! fun!

Well, Well, Well...

Well, so much has gone one in the 2 weeks i didn't have my computer. I mean, nothing major, but it could be stressful. There has been a lot of stupid drama at work lately! UGH! I'm sick of it! But I dont wanna talk about that.

Well, I kinda wanna talk about the guy that walked out on me yesterday! I had to bartend yesterday at lunch and this guy had like 9 beers and then he just left after he went to the bathroom! So I told my boss that I thought he had left, and she made me pay for his tab!!! That was $19.44! I was so mad b/c morning bartender never makes that much! OH! But then he came back in when I was still there at like 6:30! And he had the nerve to ask for another drink! So I went and got his tab and he looked at it. I had written on there that i had to pay. He said he felt bad and that he was wondering if he could just run his tab over to tomorrow when he could get his check card back from his wife! And he said he would be generous in tip...uh-huh! I'm sure you'll be back tomorrow! He now will prepay before he is served!

Okay, that was my gripe session for the day! In other news, crusade last night was fun! i got to see chantell again, which is always good! She was my d-group leader my sophomore year. She has such genuine faith! I love to be around her. We did a prayer thing last night, so we're starting a prayer warriors group w/ me, Chantell, Beth, and Tami! I'm excited. We're meeting twice a week. Monday at lunch time and Friday mornings! YAY! we start this Friday!

Oh, yeah! My computer is fixed! YAY! I can now check my email!!!! AND...UAH got facebook! YES! It is really so addicting! I love it!

Okay, enough about me for now...i have stuff to clean around my apartment before I go to lunch w/ Jeannie adn then to work at 4! That's all I do anymore is WORK WORK WORK!!!

A Death

Okay, so my computer died and I haven't been able to check my email or update this blog. I hate not having my computer right now, especially since it's summer and I get bored easily! UGH! I sent my computer back to the guy that built it. I was gonna get Jeffrey to fix it, but my mom made me send it back. Plus, the guy is really nice and if anything is wrong w/ it, maybe he'll fix it for FREE! HEHE...wishful thinking! :)

I'm at home in cullman right now. I'm about to go visit my granny and then I have a ear doc appt. in h'ville at 2! i'm not afraid of going to the ear doc anymore...i mean, what's the worst he can tell me? Oh, you're going deaf...I've heard that one before!

I bought new mascara! YAY! I'm so excited! it's awesomely sweet! Oh, and I bought my first pair of American Eagle jeans! My sister was very happy for me. I'm very happy for me too! it's so exciting buying new clothes! I need some new shirts, but it's hard for me to find ones that i like!

OKay, mom is yelling for me to hurry now! must go! may update later on someone else's computer...who knows?

Procrastination

Well, I'm not sure if I should consider it procrastination or not, but I'm taking a break. I can't study for 2 hours straight! Amanda is helping me stay focused on studying w/ her own work/study schedule. But she wanted to work on her stuff for 2 straight hours! I cna't do it! I did it for an hour and that was my best for the day! We were taking 15 minute breaks every 15 minutes, but I didn't actually start studying then. I did once before now, so I've studied a total of 1.5 hours today! I will more in just a second as soon as I type this...I'm on my own break now! :)

I went home today to go to Decoration where my great-grandparents and paw-paw are buried. I got to see a lot of my family today. Most everybody was there, all except 2 uncles and one of them has no family and the other is divorced. I have a really big family on my mom's side. My mom has 6 sisters and 4 brothers and most everybody has 2 kids or more (except for the uncle w/ no family). I love the big gatherings w/ have w/ my family. So many people, so much talking, so much laughter, so much love! :) It's always an adventure w/ my family...if you think I'm weird, just come to a family gathering. I'm not even gonna talk about my dad's side right now...that family is a whole nother story!

But, I did feel kinda awkward around my family today. I have never really felt that awkward around that side of the family before. It was really weird. But I got to bring home a bunch of leftovers in butter bowls! (my dad calls it his fine china b/c that's basically what he keeps his leftovers in) it's really good for me b/c I can just throw them away after I'm done and not hafta worry about getting it back to them. They'll just collect more! I love my redneck/hick family! They're a hoot!

I get to go home again this coming weekend for my cousin's 2nd birthday party! And I get to see her 5 year old sister play t-ball! I'm SO excited! They are my favorite cousins! My mom lives right across the road from them...it's awesome!
